As you celebrate another holiday I still breathe cautious
Reading mortal’s history I often become nauseous
All this ‘anti’ talk among Christians, Muslims and Jews
How can you people be so blind and still choose
To believe or not to believe in a Resurrection
That’s not the question, it’s more about details and direction
Jews believe in the Old Bible
While Christians cling to the new both tribal
Islam believes that Allah saved Jesus while his own people betrayed him
When everyone points a finger - us against them
Division of faith and history seldom yield truth
Everyone is wrong and nobody is right - here’s proof
When a child is born he/she knows no origin or destination
Guided by family, choices, environment and a single manifestation
When your reason for being (religion) is challenged you get pissed
Perhaps I’m real and you simply don’t exist
And I no longer believe (in you)
Heartbroken over littered oceans and burning trees
Disappointed but not surprised that you keep making mistakes
Your actions prove my flaw - Why did I choose apes?
