the last trip was no vacation
no remote to the television
can't change stations
no turndown service
no pool to dive into
no room service
no balcony
no scenery
no gift shop
no Souvenirs
just a big ocean of tears
disenfranchised travelers
wasted frequent flyer miles
homesick for some medicine
freedom don't taste the same
nothing in the air but change
something inside the waters
dogs won't drink nose turned
up like it smells to bad to lap
bars closed so are the roads
heading back nothing to do
sep't lean back attached to
what's being leaned onto
undercover and wait for
the sky to stops crying
