Hours pass and I’ve accomplished nothing
Happy when I window shop then sad when I buy something
That I know I don’t need
My virtual habit’s a symptom of greed
News is more like gossip
Articles masquerading as ads to raise company profits
Views and clicks proxy value and opinion
The illusion of power over information dominion
Too much of a good thing is a curse
As well as too many choices so you pick which is worse
Ignorance is bliss and knowledge is hell
I’m done browsing the web for now it’s time to check my email....
