Weaving the labyrinth of the tyranny of time,

let not the chartered task waiting ashore

become a victim of the rising tides of apathy

between our temple pillars of faith and hope.

Rather, in the due time coming let us be anchored,

resting our sails in the waters of persistence

and determination to stand and do the right thing

to return our nation to its tenets of justice and equality.

Let us not allow the founding code of beliefs

on which the foundation of this country was laid

become mere footnotes to the keloid history

that certain historical tyrannies have overshadowed.

History—Ourstory—has and continues to teach us

many lessons; plain and simple, as well as allegorically.

Let her lessons be our guide in dismantling bigotry and injustice;

recommitting ourselves to molding a nation of peace, love and unity.

M. Lowe,

Graduate of TSU

1970

poetic praise ...to the noble course, inferred... a prayer, if not a call to arms, for a dynamic course change...

Thanks, love_supreme. Post Graduate, University Of The West Indies, Jamaica, 1977. Returned to USA, 1983. Being teaching in a labour of love since. Looking forward to being perpendicular for 80 years in February. Thank you for continuing---with God---to motivate me before I'm called in. Thank you. Much appreciated. Peace and Love.
