Schooling through
varied waters
of life, snaking
pass seasoned predators,
bated curiosity often reels us
into imprisoning buckets
where we flip-flop each other
into a comatose fate.
A comatose fate,
sending suspended minds
and souls u-tubing
distant cousins leaping
from domestic cell-like tanks
seeking a liberation
evolution failed to ensure.
Such is the ironic fate
of many creatures
who often find themselves
being like lost fish out of water;
floundering in illusionary liberation.
