I can’t much longer keep up this facade
When I know that hope is just a mirage
My bids whilst playing games of charades
Caused me to renege like I can’t play Spades
When the cards were dealt
Anger and hopelessness was all I felt
With just one Trump card
We bid six and I threw it down hard!
To psych out my partner and the competition
Secretly hoping that we wouldn’t fail our mission
The game was close and I started talking crap
Collecting the first book and giving my partner some dap
But in a matter of minutes the truth became clear
My partner didn’t have nothing and they were whupping...our...rear...
We lost the game and it crushed my pride
My partner was real pissed too, because I lied
