The mother, who…
Does everything respectful and honorable
She can do, to keep us fed …and clothed…
The one who keeps us safe and warm
And free from harm,
Who gathers her children
And leads them to shelter
…before the storm,
Passes knowledge
…of how real love bonds are formed,
And why sometimes…
When we are caught up
...with someone...
Who only has captured our love
...who proves unworthy ...in truth...
But really means us no good,
She has given us the solution
After repeated attempts
At meaningful resolution…
...shows no proof...
We need to get out
