this a profound axiom
when considered
in the light
of its revelations...
indeed
the world has changed
much
yet...so much remains
the same...
once chained bodies
have been emancipated
yet...shackling oppression
remains...
indeed...modes of in-justice
have changed
yet...the in- remains
bonding justice...
the land of the free
and the home of the brave
has certainly changed
yet...as brave as i am here
i'm still not seen as one
being free...
thus...the more things
remain the same
the more we must
challenge them
to change...
to not do so is bad enough
but to not attempt to do so
is worst...
