The load of time
Weighs heavy
On the yokes of life:
Shelled sentences
Burden innocence
Of the children preyed upon—
Life failed to root itself.
Janus-face bigot moguls genuflect,
Craving forgiveness;
Singing praises to their necessities.
Overseeing it all, time watches,
Moving steadily onward—ticking:
Hammered out on the anvil of life,
Yokes remain slave chains of death.
