Armies of the damned… release, the beasts…

Phantoms await …emerging from the shadows…

To deliver …deaths kiss…

Wicked plagues …infect the masses…

Who, now… live

FEAR

Yet, still… we resist…

The Common man…

Taken, in…

Falls into a trance…

...Senses overruled, now…

Half-dead…

Compelled …to dance…

Must… join the…

PANDEMIC

Parade

Powerless, to resist…

This enchantment

Which overrides any and all

Which come into this condition…

More than an imposition…

This constitutes …a…

…dilemma…

Like the seashell held to the ears... 

Death Calling...

Disruption

Of all life’s procession…

Leaves us vulnerable …indifferent…

Incapable of…

Maintaining possessions

Coldness… in its invasion…

By confusion, overtaken

GOOD people

Lose…

*the freedom to roam on common grounds,

To live, undisturbed… on homelands…

Established

…for the life and well+being

…of our kind…

…the nature of living well…

*the ability to show love,

in its purest form…

To reach beyond

…the perpetual need…

To attach conditions… on subsistence…

Of other beings…  

…what sense of damage control…

Needed… to address this calamity…

*the ability to respond …to environmental

Conditions… beyond comprehension…

Is elusive…

What leadership… existent,

Unable …to counter the onslaught

Must reposition, to regroup…

What strategy…

Momentary indecision…

Only adds to the confusion…

In the panic …families, gather…

…people struggle merely to survive

Renaissance people…

Who respond to… epidemics…

With somber moods…

And sober minds…

Placed in a position…

Whereby, we are…

Involuntarily moved,

From a place of …relative strength…  

To a horrific …massacre…

Past …odds…

Impossible …to resist…

In need of intervention

…but faith…

Intervenes …on our behalf…

As …one…

…lovers… of life…

Spreading faithfulness

…with goodness

…and light…  

Although

Each  

May be…

Struck down…

Another in us

Must rise…

Though

Messages of…

Love…

Continues to be…

Issued…

Our lips…

(sigh!)

Is this …

Just

A …glitch…
