Be aware Mandingo man, little has changed

over the years.

It’s open season again and the pack hunting

hyena-like human predators are out freely

roaming as if on a virtual city-wide savannah

safari.

Be aware Mandingo man, the hunt is on and

the hunters have their sites on sable skin male

dears.

Sable skin male dears trotting along the city trail-

ways.

Be aware Mandingo man, it’s still strange fruit season

and there is no need to wear hooded sheets to warn you.

Today’s lynching has become synonymous with justified

gun murder.

All that is needed is to justify to cohorts that the sable hued                                                               

buck or calf looked as if he was freely grazing or running about

suspiciously.

Today, the streets and roads remain open killing fields and no

licenses are needed; just the usual agreeable due cause excuse.

So be aware Mandingo Man, trees may be spared but hued slaying

remains pandemic.

And so does the viral pandemonium of grief and injustice the hued

dears still bear.
