I wore a chain with a black stone and little did I know over time that represented my heart. That was parts of me that I could not see and did not want to venture to inquire about. There was a darkness made whole in that stone and I was no better for it.
Have you ever wanted something so bad but felt like the world was always denying it to you. I never did it and my heart was cold for the world not giving it to me.
In time it would, God spoke to me in solace and said my time would come. Where I was running, I would soon need to stop and turn around and run.
You can run from the world forever, you have to turn around and fight the success that is yours. And of course, ours.
