Time, purpose, reason

We all live and die (RIP!)

Seeds become harvests, why?

Do we kill instead of heal?

If ye seek heaven, then what’s the deal?

At every turn, there’s cause for concern

I fear that some of us may never learn…

These Solomon’s words, all up in your speaker (speaker, speaker, speaker)!

From the time we’re born, to the time we die

The seeds we plant must grow, can’t standby!

There a time to kill

And a time to heal

Sometimes you gotta destroy

Before you can ever rebuild (Amen)!

There’s a time for love, and a time for hate

But if you know what’s best, just respect your mate!

A time to fight, and time to do what’s right!

No winners in wars, ‘cuz life has an invaluable price

You may laugh, and its okay to cry (Boo-Hoo)

Do you really need to know, exactly how and why!

There’s a time to mourn, and a time to dance

If you don’t boo-hoo or catch a groove, you’ll soon regret the chance!

Time to gather stones, and a time to pick ‘em up

Know when we cool, and also when you’re pushin’ your luck!

Know when to search, and then when to quit

It’s okay to keep things, but other times just let ‘em slip!

There’s a time to mend, then you gotta let it rip!

There’s a time to speak, then again, zip up your lip!

If you’re frustrated, look me in the eye

You may laugh, and again, it’s okay to cry (Boo-Hoo!)

Take your time, to morn and enjoy

Humanity’s complicated, we build and we destroy!

Y’all just wanted to have fun

But somebody brought a gun!

Causing panic at the dance

Foolish actions, ruined our chance!

Don’t bring no war, up to our shore!

Break bread instead, libations should pour!

In these uncertain times, love can ‘trump’ hate

Put your differences aside, and find ways to relate!

Born, morn, seed, feed, kill, heal, smile... NOW!
