Rain and Thunder
There is Rain!
There is Thunder!
The whole world is in a blunder
Raining down droplets that could engross us into a place
of dangerous existence, loud thunder comes from the atmosphere
That gives us little resistance from a plague that is out of control
One that we did not have a notion that would unfold
Leaving us in a place of loneliness, and where we must count
our spaces in order to protect us from the evil that rains down upon us
The pure, sweet, rain that we longed to touch our faces in the past
has been insensitively affected that we now must cover our faces with a mask
We call on a higher power to deliver us from this madness so we
can embrace the precious rain in the atmosphere again.
