Demonstrate our skills,

As human beings…

Give us means to…

Make magic happen every day,

In work …and play…

Removing …things which block

…and stop,

Cloud our dreams…

Laying obstacles in our path,

Give us cause

To take a knee… or two

And pray…

For the precursor

To intercede…

On our behalf…

Even when it’s our own errors

Which have created …the very problems…

We must face.

When we need an advocate

To help us state our case

Asking …the Creator…

If by whose grace… allows us

Just …one more, escape…

Beyond the loss and tears,  

Our inability

…to overcome, our fears…

…in our near helpless attempt,

To overcome …our doubts,

That even with our best efforts

We’ll find, that… we can’t begin to cope

With the intricate mechanics …of our fates

Is not just the natural affinity

 To seek out

The tools most near the heart of mind

Of those… whose space in time,

Brings forth good fruits

Valued, as they do… life…

Making love…

Despite,

The worst of enemies,

Whose…

Most spiteful desire

Is to erase …all good,

 Destroy what all we’ve built

Which serves,

Not to glorify…

Their …most prevalent desire

To dominate, take control…

Where our only hope

Is just …beyond …our reach…

But, just our luck…

We never give up,

We …have, our time…

We have… our team

We have…

A hope, a wish,

A prayer…

And a dream
