To much Blue
To much Green
The colors underneath can’t shine through
Yellow brush stokes disappear
This canvas is permanently stained with
my choices of what I knew then
Now I’ve tried to remove the excess
years later to no avail.
I know now less is more
Sometimes the choices we make in life
become permanent fabric of our lives
and we wish we could go back to get a
DO OVER.
