Down on the underside
Is the place where lost souls hide
And broken dreams collide
The place wherein tranquil darkness
Haunted creeps confide
Diving into the deep
Some emerging
As clouds divide
And the burning sun
Doth rise
Bone chilling fears soon gone with the wind
As the sun glistens on the tides
And casts shadows on the city’s dark sides
Finally free with no destination
Black cats forever in the alleys spend their nine lives
Amongst hapless beings and downtrodden thieves
Down low under the bridge
Out of sight
Out of mind
Meek gentle and sly
Only the fearless
Will escape sad demise
