Of the bakery
Pies and sugary cream
I slide over the line
Dividing dreamland and reality
My mind
Drifting off in the breeze
To the ground
Candy apples fall from the trees
Cool shadows
Warm sunlight
Flower scents arouse
Sensual delights
Pleasantries lasting
Into the cool moonlight
Mellow twilight
Streetlights
Giving way to dark blazing skies
Of the night
More than I can surmise
This oneness is gratefulness
Happiness
What it means to be alive
Slow will burn the candle and campfire
Keeping us warm until sunrise
Glow wil the candle and campfire
Crackling until sunrise
Today will be better
No more lies
All clear in my mind’s eye
