a presentation of arms to our heroes in harm

a warm salute, a five minute mute

a stream of prayer to show we care

encouraging words for those in despair

fallen soldiers who've stood in the paint

all up in clouds and resting with saints

In this poem I'm expressing thanks

for soldiers that are living

to lay one's life exceeds all giving

to put it all on the line, to give your

life for mine

and others

will continue to pray for families

and mothers

the courage to stand tall

the sacrifice behind those walls

for the sake of red, white, and blue

and through this piece

I truly grateful and forever say
