"Your body's here with me" by the O'jays bumped in my head on repeat. Looking in her eyes for any sign of remorse as she prepared to leave. She was proud of who she was and being herself is all she ever tried to be. Suddenly, I realized it was nothing wrong with her, it was something wrong with me.
