What away for this Labor day
holiday to begin
In the early morn it began
to rain
Oh such an intervention
for lots of outdoor grilling
Most now inside chilling
I had plans to grill a few
leg quarters
Forget that stayin inside
listenin enjoyin all
this water
Its more then a pop up
shower
Its a rare set in rain
being delivered
I just love that sound coming
down thru the trees and leaves
that applause like rhythm hitting
the ground
Labor day it may be
raining most of the
day
but at least many deserved
folks off today and
can have it there way
