Said the pen to the poet
long time you no around
so
have a sit write some rhyme down
You been ridin the highways and byways
all those thoughts flashing out
the window
What about the ones you left in thought
at the lake
Not one did your thought process save
not one talking zero
You know its only so much a pen
can take
The night is semi chilly cold
come pick me up and delve into the
layers of your soul
time for you to slow down write
somethin down
Every year go through this ritual
with my pen
but as always good to b back
with my faithful pen
again
