A persons word today is
like the American dollar
shallow with no value here
or any other place
A persons word is just that-a word
sound bytes vibrating in space
nothing but lies spewing from
your face
There was a time when a person
stood behind their word
Now a days its just another lie
you have heard
With words laced with lace and silk
you find they are weaken down
like one percent milk
I try to do right in my dealins with folks
but it seems you are the one that
end up the joke
But from each one it will happen only
once in my face
for in my life for you there is
no place
