A Mother & Son

dwell in this global hell

divergent times

sustain in recruit lines

strain my mind in pursuit of

gold mines

when in despair, her prayers

an uplift

what a gift she is precisely

a woman so righteously and pure

supports me when I'm unsure and twisted

always the correct words to fix it

believes in me better than I believe

in myself

”that dusty Bible on the shelf is your

help and guide”

”why divide from God?”

”mama it's hard”

when I lean into schemes

she reminds me of dreams

and states ”work is undone”

that beautiful bond between a

Mother and Son
