I saw the water in your eyes so I was running blue, I was always sad to see you go even when I was with you. I was stuck in the future, unsure of the present, and always trying to fix the past.
I approached it the wrong way. I think I should always be living in this present moment and even that was escaping me.
I am already losing this message, barreling towards the future with my foot on the gas pedal and just taking this moment...
to breathe.
