Joy and Pain

In this world exists two absolutes
There's no in-between or no substitutes
Nobody can't have one without the other
These things will forever stick with you, closer than a brother

The first is joy, o boy
Nothing can ever over exceed the real mccoy
It's highly experienced in fits of a happy day
Where it leaves anybody breathless with nothing to say

However in an instant, here comes the pain
where it bowls even the strongest person over, like torrential rain
This is when grief is at its' highest peak
And it can leave anybody feeble and weak

So the question here is...... is there a balance?
where the equlibrium within that equation can be used with many talents
The answer is yes, but it's delicate and constantly needs refining
and it's found in what's called the silver lining

This is again where mysteries are being revealed
To keep all the in-betweens in check and forever sealed
So that everybody today can live in spite of the strain
that life can deliver between joy and pain!
