  I thought that you were mine, you told me all that my heart needed to hear. I was being brave just to welcome your love in. Did you realize my willingness to let you in? or were you amazed at how vulnerable I was, See I thought I had left it all in the past, I figured since I was ready to go on a few dates, drink a little bit, talk a little much... I was ready for this life again, but I see that I expected too much too soon; still bleeding out my wounds. But still I thought you were the one...it was you, although you played me to no end and chuckled through every curve you bend. I take this one and wear it with shame, because I allowed my heart to play this game.......again and again, so I take responsibility for this one, and I wear it with enough shame, to strengthen this love of mine to soon proclaim.
