Have reached that stage when I have
turned the page
Reached that age where all my close
friends have passed away
No longer do the yard thing where we
sit around talkin smack have some laughs
got the music jammin got the beer got the liquor
got the weed everybody going at their preferred
speed playin some cards all this while just hanging
in the yard
So now my friends most have passed away
I must now discover create other things
to pass my time and I just love it cause
my time is mine
Now that weather done changed and it
is now Spring
do landscaping around the property cut
the grass limb some trees
keeping things lookin beautifully
Out there with them flowers that
attract butterflies humming birds
Take off to the scenic back roads
to the Lake only 17 miles away
walk the half mile trail takes a while but
I take in the scenery the sights the sounds
waves crashing the banks taking that last gulp
Squirrels Geese OSpry crows now and then spot
very large eagle
Always hear folks talking about life is boring
unlike me they aint doing no riding no touring
no fishing
Thogh my friends are no longer here
I have no fear always find away to
killa day
