Talking drums sound
Leaping from inner space
Making the earth quake
A deep rumbling heard by man or beast
Moving every molecule of things near/far
Resonate
Make the stars twinkle
(as if they canot relate)
Each giving its characteristic take
As walking echoes speak
Drumbeat rhythms
Skip from one dimension to the next…
Loose particles of spiritual matter respond
Shake
Being transformed into instruments
Reborn
Taking flight
Given means
As skimming surface winds
kiss peaking waves
Skinny-dipping east
Pounding flesh resounding
Revolving around…
Spinning perspectives so fast
Creating alternate reality
As our conceptual timing drifts
As ever more versatile styles shift
Birthing chain reactions spontaneous
Revolutions
Drop from joyous wombs of creativity.
Turning about themselves/exploring beyond
The myths/in motion, heels of hands and fists flying
Cries of life/each making its presence known
Breaking silence, sound in signs
Neither right-side up or upside down
With words slurred, visions blurred
Almost beyond the absurd
Improvisation sounding with each beat
Resounding with desire to the next
As if a reminder with no regrets
Didn’t you see the neon signs flashing?
Do Not Disturb! Those who carry the word…
As if to exclude those without a clue
To move minds relying on the text
Revealing emerging truths
As its reality blossoms from the inside out
as it should/when peace rules from the heart
Shaping the futuristic
best of all its all good
Hips hopping in orbit and loving it
Sky dancing between the sheets
Up, down, side to side going for gold
Reaching for the grand prize of our lives
Until we are all most out of breath
Take five still going places mortals never see
Taking a journey way over yonder
Pondering beyond the dream
Taking soundings to tremendous depths
Where you hijack my sanity,
set free
My engaged humanity
Just you and me altering the drop setting
Clear off the scope
side-stepping
perceptual reality
Bringing a greater aura of awakening
Of the leviathan within
A transfusion you give
From inner heart of soul
truth neither you/i can shake
i can’t get you out of my head
no mistake
guess i had better take care of these
Sweet-loving memories
so they will not
Be an endangered species
Our whale song symphonies
Answering our passionate love-calls
All
through the night
Swinging bodies sign
Singing flesh aligns
As if by design
Bodies alternate
Sometimes in slow rhythmic motion
Otherwise push-pull, fits and starts
Create sparks between the interactions
Of body and mind/flesh and bones
Making re-entry from your place or mine
Irrelevant/always right on time
With an offset rhythm
spiraling into a perfect ellipse
…
as bodies/hips/eyes/lips
Lock/pop/skip/pause…
Release
Repeat
Linking vocal calls our spirituals
Become sweeter still
Thrills and spills
Climaxing in colors
Moaning
To the divine will
Spreading pollen of desire to seeds
Inspired
Watered perfectly by the passion
Planted in your head/womb
Bearing fruits of joy to share
As Love grows for many seasons
Come a love that’s ever true
You may find yourself
Grow ever fonder of
As these moments spent
Hopefully together
In communion over the course of life
Deliver continuity we may be granted
If we do it right
Gain a better appreciation for
Each other’s spiritual gifts
In ways, no other may come to know
As our spirits forever dance
Step by step,
Down the path together
Into eternity
