Good olden

In the corner of the garden

by the old shed, by the old hoe.

An old woman/man with gray hair.

Having tended the earth carefully.

Sat in the shade

stopping for a smoke.

Thought of the great choices

as well as mistakes he/she had made

what tasks he/she might accomplish today

After planted corn to feed the chickens

Raised chickens

to provide his/her eggs and meat.

He/she had hand dug a well

Many years ago

Everything

still Working

Wow! Just imagine, in the GOOD olden days, we didn't have to worry about the water bill. God had given us the survival skill. We still have so much to learn from the Ancestors who did so much---with so little---that we with so much today, would have so little to do!? ONE. Peace and Love.
