As the insanity continues.
We must not be distracted
or fall asleep.
The same mind trips and traps
which appear new
merely new versions
of ancient tricks
prelude to
the coming apocalypse
While Jesse,
BettySue and John
busy-up
trying to get their fix
try'n
keep up with the Musks
but can’t keep up
with the latest politics
still, same old
parlor tricks
another trainload
arrives at life’s station
new fools, dropping in
stepping out of their skin
pimping slick
trying to get
your soul twisted
around whatever it is
that they want to make
you think they've got
as if making you be about them
is so baaad
you won’t realize
their game is just another shot
trying to make you think
they be about what they're not
it's just another mothers child
trying to get ahead of the game
