Its official, today is Black Poetry Day just because I called it. We miss out on this day or the next when we can proclaim this day. We can let the world dictate who we are or we can claim it. I would hope that you choose the latter.
Im elated.
I made it to the point in life where I just dont care what people think. Ok, maybe certain people. I would consider them the ones that are closest to me. But still, I am glad that I have arrived. So happy Black Poetry Day to you and me.
We earned it.
