We were born good but
They taught us to be bad
Because bad things are hated
And are always doomed to death.
We’ve been taught to kill each other
And are in turn, killed for doing so;
Just how bad can that really be?
If this goes on, we’ll soon see.
Pray tell my people, let us stop!
Doing bad to self is really bad;
Doing nothing about it is badder:-
Being born good, let’s be and do.
Let’s destroy the bad destroying us;
Although the sun is shining brightly
The darkness of daily grief prevails
As black youths are being killed daily.
