A CISTERN OF POETIC LIGHT

I am a poet of the light,

My heart is as the sun

And my mind as if the moon;

While my spirit is as the stars:-

You are the world on which we all shine,

And Poetry Vibe is the sea on which we flow;

While my life is waning, I am not being killed

And neither should you and the children be.

May my cistern of light 

Continue to pour out

Into overflowing cups

And sipping saucers:-

May God not let my cistern know emptiness

While I remain here perpendicular to His sun;

May my cistern’s shared light continues to ignite

Divine wisdom, guidance, and fertile inspiration:-
