Nothing is as I expected to be…
Underwhelmed and disappointed in the present
When it was the future
Anything was possible
But what I recall from the past
Was based on a ‘better’ future
That never happened

Technology, options, food, news, information, money, debt, opinions, ideas, and material things,
All made simple things more complicated
When I was seven, my family of five had one phone, one computer, one tv, one car, and five monthly bills
At 47, my family of three has four phones, six computers/tablets, three tvs, two cars, and 25 monthly bills.
