Something Moving

there's a car in a yard 

it sits on one tire

I wouldn't call it a car

it's more like a disable vehicle

if it had an expression 

it probably would look sad

that's my first impression

who cares about a car in a yard

sitting on one tire 

who looks over a fence 

to stare at a car like 

someone who never seen

a car brokedown before 

I can't help how I'm wired

everything speaks 

everything says something

to those who listen

those with tuned up 

transmissions 

the disable vehicle is old

it won't ever be seen again 

out on the road 

it'll only be sold for parts

if it had a soul it would have a heart

that probably won't ever start

I can't look at something 

and not pick it apart 

I have to see what its made of

get to the bottom of 

what it was before the newness

wore off back to the begining

before rust settled in
