Guiding me to his alter, as I dig my feet in the sand
There is no other man... that can tame me.
Faithfully in love with his lessons, his blessings,
And the love that he shows,
I wonder if he knows...
I look up to him, literally at night
Praising him in fight...
I'm so grateful
for
My Heavenly Father *

Bragee says: I gathered that’s it is regarding the Heavenly Father but the way it could be taken both ways is the real art in poetry! Some will read and think of their biological fathers, some will read and think about being a father, and some will read and get the heavenly perspective. Great piece either way! |
