If we want to make this old bitter world
A new and sweeter world in which to live in,
We must encounter the external and internal
Demolitions tearing us down inside and outside:-
To encounter and rebuild that which God has intended,
We must first begin internally rebuilding our tested faith
With the bricks of love that the Creator has provided us
To build a solid foundation upon which to restore all hope:-
Although sinful destruction pervades our lives in today’s world,
Let’s not forget the old trials and tribulations we’ve overcome;
Let us not forget how the Master Builder has so often restored
Our tested hearts with the strengthening hope of master workers:-
As re-energized master workers, let us give the Master Builder
All praise and thanksgiving for giving us refining hearts of His love:-
Refined hearts restored with divine wisdom and guidance; cemented
With healing grace enabling us to overcome struggling life today:-
