The one thing that I must do in this world is love black love. I have made it one of my responsibilities, seemed like the sensible thing to do. I was already black and more than that, I loved what that meant.
In many cases it felt like I struggled to get here but for the most part, I breezed and drift through this life meeting one good person after the next. Some people I could have dont without but the Lord put them in front of me for a purpose and hopefully they lived up to that purpose.
I wanted more than the world would allow but I gladly took it and accepted it. I was drunk with love and have not sobered to this day.
