Stardust that we are
Kissed by suns as we spin away

Once launched from the motherships
within capsules, fragile shells

And as every light in the universe has eyes

we are observed for all we are

enveloped in a bubble we call time.

On a mission beyond our minds spark
passing through the matrix

what we perceive as space

Woven in strands joined end to end
from evolving threads of existence

as we become ever more defined,
depositing our spent cores
jetsoned back without a ripple

a stones drop of existence with no reply
to the ocean of intelligent design.

As if an experiment hurriedly showcased exits the stage

Suddenly... To disappear not a trace

We ever were… To disintegrate back to dust
or more akin to rust, after what we call a lifetime

as our embers lose their fire And what fruits
of our desires are hopefully extended

to the next members in the race
to overcome one of many problems

we must face before our source code

is erased

fishing through our dreams
whether hurried or at peace with it.

Asking Did we ever find our place?
Going fishing, casting lines,

we sing our song of love and pursue a life

not better, just more aligned

wrapped around one another as if,
wound about our companion spirits

bringing our special gifts

To share our part of this migration of mankind
on our journey through the stars

fellow soul candles of the divine

As the music of the sweetness of our souls
echo like windchimes in a gentle breeze

flowing in the endless streaming universe
so serene. almost a dream

As we hope enjoyment of what
we hear as if angels singing…

are the rhythms of the heartbeats
in our minds...
