perplexed, annoyed

climbing through the abyss

staring into the void

wondering

has this always been mankind's 

persistent role 

spinning reels of lifelines 

of hardship and toil

as the revolving door of life

spins off its axis once-again

its only win survival

each move a test of skill and courage

practice marching in formation

trumpets blasting in defiance

providing a distraction

ready for the final battle

merely a reaction

an itch to scratch

more graves to fill

i am confident, competent,

well trained, experienced

patriotic, in a sense

i know what i stand for

what i believe to be good

is well understood

the technology invested

in this machine i fly

best that money can buy

backed by expert technicians

reinforced by repetition

money spent training to fly

the cost in armament, logistics

learning the specifics

how best not to die

in every possible condition

flying against all, odds

defying statistics

knowing what it feels 

to black out...

what it is takes to recover

positive/negative high g acceleration

to fight for a nation

Cosmic Dust

The universe sees us

as energy of low intensity

a faint spark

against the darkness

surrounding

every other point of being

our dreams are just part

of the evolving machine

which consumes

all futures

of all things

transient...

across the space

of eternity

as it unwinds time

crossing space

 Drawn just as its erased

A place...

A paradox

which cannot be

explained

every possibility

a suggestion

in the collective

is no change without rebirth

keeping pace with our imagination

crossing desert lands
hardening our resolve to get us there

thrones calling for emperors
as signals of individuals

are simultaneously being erased
to the right and left of us

as we struggle , keeping pace
even as we drop down

newly born into this storm
pre-programmed

to be led... until
we learn the code to rise

from the sacred wombs
of our motherships

to be placed onto the mosaic

Just came out from debrief
aligning my perspective

calming my mind
focusing on the objective
