Anxious DistressHow far-fetched is it to think that my present hardship comes from some cruel act I've not done yet? Even with regret, trouble still expects me to act accordingly. As if I should know the causality, with the time order not being what it should be. A calamity that makes me wonder, is this a side effect of a future blunder? Who am I to questionGod has a mysterious way of determining who lives and who dies. I endure the pain with my cries, while asking why. But isn't this God’s world? I understand and yet I remain confused. The human in me rejoices for life, for death, I refuse. God’s world, God’s rules. Are they not decided by God alone? Is it for me to determine where God’s child belongs? Is it for me to determine if this world is greater than the next?
