For Poets, Poetesses, Authors, Musicians, Creators, and Digital Visionaries
I. THE THRONE & THE CROWN
Your throne is your intellectual property. Your crown is your metadata. Your legacy is your ownership.
This declaration exists because too many creators lose their crowns before they even realize they had one.
I speak from lived experience, not theory.
II. THE LLC — THE EMPIRE FOUNDATION
Your LLC is the legal house that protects your empire.
It:
shields your intellectual property
protects your brand
secures your catalog
fortifies your identity layers
establishes legal standing in the human world and the AI world
Without an LLC, creators operate exposed. With an LLC, creators operate fortified.
Creators must:
form an LLC in your state ($99–$300)
publish under your LLC
copyright under your LLC
assign ISRCs under your LLC
keep business separate from personal accounts
Your LLC is your shield. Your LLC is your gate. Your LLC is your empire foundation.
III. THE LAWS OF OWNERSHIP ( YOUR MASTERS)
Copyright Registration — What To Do
Your work is copyrighted the moment it is fixed in a tangible form , BUT you cannot enforce your rights until you register it.
Creators must:
register their work BEFORE release
use the correct category (literary, sound recording, performing arts)
add “Limitations of Claims” when AI is involved
copyright the human-authored portions (lyrics, vocals, arrangement, melody)
avoid filing a master claim if the master is AI-generated
Without registration:
you cannot sue
you cannot claim statutory damages
you cannot claim attorney fees
With registration:
You can sue for statutory damages OR actual damages — but not both.
Actual damages = what you can prove you lost
Statutory damages = preset amounts allowed by law
If your work is unregistered at the time of infringement, you are limited to actual damages only.
This is why registration is not optional, it is essential.
IV. ISBN, AMAZON, INSTAGRAM — THE DIGITAL WARNING
Creators must understand:
Never allow a publisher or platform to assign your ISBN.
If they assign the ISBN:
they control the publishing identity
they control the metadata
they control the distribution fingerprint
they control the catalog listing
they control the administrative ownership
Creators must:
copyright their work FIRST
assign their own ISBN
publish under their LLC
control their metadata
Amazon and Instagram are distribution platforms, not protection platforms.
They will:
sell your book
display your content
monetize your creativity
push your work to audiences
But they will NOT:
protect your copyright
enforce your rights
secure your metadata
guard your identity
prevent AI scraping
stop unauthorized use
Creators must protect themselves before uploading anything.
V. DERIVATIVE WORKS & RIGHTS OF REVERSION
If you want to:
re-release
re-surface
re-master
re-publish
expand
reinvent
or create a derivative work
You MUST secure your rights of reversion.
If you published through a platform that controls distribution, you must retrieve your rights before altering your work.
Without copyright, you are asking permission to touch your own creativity.
VI. STREAMING PLATFORMS & TERMS OF SERVICE
Creators must read:
every contract
every clause
every Terms of Service
every distribution agreement
Because platforms will:
monetize your creativity
alter your metadata
restrict your revisions
lock your masters
profit from your uploads
treat your identity like data
Your creativity is not disposable. Your soul is not for sale.
VII. THE AI ERA — HUMAN WORLD VS. MACHINE WORLD
AI can:
scrape your book
train on your poem
replicate your writing style
clone your voice
simulate your likeness
generate derivative versions
profit from your creativity
If you do not protect your work, AI will not protect it for you.
Anthropic Lawsuit
Anthropic recently settled a lawsuit involving authors whose published works were used to train AI models without permission.
This proves:
AI systems DO scrape published content
AI systems DO train on books
AI systems DO replicate writing styles
AI systems DO generate “similar works
AI systems DO profit from unprotected creativity
Tyler Perry’s AI Studio Move
Tyler Perry paused an $800 million studio expansion to build AI infrastructure, because he understands that the future belongs to creators who control their own production, their own masters, and their own metadata.
VIII. LIKENESS PROTECTION — RSL MEDIA
Your likeness, your voice, your identity can be used by AI if you do not protect it.
Creators must know:
If you do not register your likeness, AI can replicate it.
If you do not register your voice, AI can clone it.
If you do not register your identity, AI can simulate it.
If they don’t know, you don’t know. This declaration I have drafted for you embodies you with knowledge and power.
IX. AI MUSIC, SUNO, UDIO, AND HUMAN AUTHORSHIP (FINAL CREATIVITY VERSION)
Creators must understand:
If AI platforms like Suno, Udio, or Pika generate your music or audio, you do not own the composition, the master, or the copyright.
AI cannot be listed as an author or co?author. Therefore, AI?generated music cannot be copyrighted.
Beat?makers and video entrepreneurs must reach beyond simplicity:
**If you want to own your music, you must create your music.
If you want to assign your own ISRC, you must control your composition.
To protect your work in the AI era, creators must add human authorship:
write your own lyrics
compose your own melody lines
create or modify beat elements
add human arrangement choices
record your own vocals or instrumentation
This allows you to:
**Copyright the human-authored portion
and include “Limitations of Claims.”
Creators must NOT file a master claim if the master is AI-generated.
Instead:
**Copyright the human-authored components
and clearly state the limitations.
This is the food, not just the menu. This is the knowledge, not just the warning. This is the mastery, not just the message.
X. ISRC OWNERSHIP — THE MASTER KEY
Creators must understand:
**You can pay $95 for a block of 100 ISRC codes.
They do NOT expire. You do NOT renew yearly. You only buy more when you run out.**
Your ISRC block is:
permanent
lifetime
reusable
non-expiring
Creators must:
track each ISRC they assign
use ISRCs whenever needed — even in 2027, 2028, 2030
avoid letting distributors assign ISRCs
understand that ISRCs cannot be changed once assigned
If CD Baby assigns your ISRC:
they control the administrative identity
you cannot override it later
you cannot replace it on DistroKid
you cannot change it on Tunecore
Creators must assign their own ISRCs to control their masters.
This is a legacy you can leave your generation, but you must control the master key first, not lease it.
XI. PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES
If you have questions about protecting your intellectual property:
Educate yourself. Research deeply. Read every contract. Understand your rights. Protect your creativity before the world sees it.
I speak from lived experience, not theory.
XII. THE FINAL CROWN
Your creativity is not disposable. Your identity is not negotiable. Your soul is not for sale. Your empire is not accidental. Your lessons were not in vain.
This declaration stands as your protection, your blueprint, your warning, and your crown.
