George Washington didn’t need to register to vote or marry his wife!

But Black folks still need permission, just to live their own life

My ancestors’ strife

Yelling, compelling me to give into doubt

If it feels wrong, you must find an alternative route

Just because your neighbor is white

That doesn’t mean you’re exempt from the fight!

You must be intentional and irrational when

Discrimination and racism begin all over again

Call out society, coworkers, family, and your friend

Keep having conversations until nobody is a stranger

Reread history to truly understand your anger 

Amoral laws can transform a harmless tool into a serious danger

Like an alley abortion and a coat hanger

Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022, back when Biden was POTUS 

More than half of white American women still voted for 'Agent Orange', like we didn’t all notice!

They chose 'Uncle Scam' over Kamala Harris

Voting against their own interests, but they still aren’t held accountable or even embarrassed!
