The colonizers used Catholicism as a tool of suppression, not salvation:
• They replaced our spirits with saints.
• They punished our ceremonies.
• They demonized our music.
• They feared our drums.
• They feared our dance.
• They feared our third eye.

This is how a beautiful, celestial, ancestral system was pushed into the shadows.
Not because it was evil, I must add, because they feared its power.

This is how Haitian Vodou was born:

• our chakras as inborn technology
• our third eye as ancestral sight
• our sainthood as Supreme Knowledge
We reclaim the rites they twisted. We reclaim the cosmology they feared. We reclaimed the power they tried to bury.
This is not darkness. This is ancestral light.
This is not superstition. This is Supreme Knowledge.
