Devine Imperfection Beloved,
may I remove all of your clothes,
slowly but surely revealing all of
what’s underneath.
For I wish to lay eyes on your Godly
creation, in full—
Paying utmost attention to your flaws
as they are most sacred to me.

Borrowed Breath I’m embracing the unwritten
lines in between your quiet;
My hands, gentle enough to
inhabit you without breaking
the stillness.
Don’t express to me how it
feels,
but do close your eyes, and take
it all in as our time reveals.
Relax in my arms, as the
emergence of ink begins to show.
Word for word, stanzas in tow,
a tranquil poem—now flows.
Our margins are deep,
holding secrets our minds can’t
fathom to keep.
No whispers are needed
to measure the depth—
just the steady slow rhythm of
borrowed breath.

The Sacred Unveiling Beloved, may I?
Remove your clothes,
fabric by fabric, revealing what’s
underneath.
For I wish to lay eyes on your Godly
creation in full—
Flaws first, as they are most sacred
to me.
I want to kiss all of your imperfections,
none more important than the other.

Collapse All Distance A corresponding voice that
resonates with its own tone;
It’s telling me to come home,
her body waiting in reach.
Collapse all of your distance
on to me.
It whispers past my mind
until the chant is embedded
deep within my aloft,
For it grounds my descent from
cosmos—
pulled down to experience her
gravity’s must.

Until the Night Exhales Let me kiss you the right way,
all over, soft and slow.
Losing my breath in between
savoring each quote.
Brow, neck, shoulder, “lower”—
your petite breasts,
“lower”—
Feel the way the rest of
you trembles as the mood begins
to grow.
Take hold of my crown and
guild me as you please, take
control letting your hands
rewrite my rhythm—go.
Until the night itself exhales.

Open Minded They became deep in their poetic
space, as they defied sound permitting
moans through the vast obscure.
For they were lost in each other’s
mystique, yet still open minded
to where their spirits were.
And even while sated, they still
yearned at the remaining closed
doors of each other’s corridor.
There is where they’d find comfort
in the shadows left waiting to be
explored.

Beyond Her Threshold The physical fades to a quiet
background when the map of your
thoughts begins to unwind.
Though your beauty lies bare in this
softening light, it is always the
structure and grace of your mind.
The curve of a shoulder, the warmth of
a touch, are only the threshold, the
edge of the door.
But, the words that you speak and the
truths you hold still are the landscapes
I am drawn to explore.
For skin may invite an immediate gaze,
a sudden surrender to what I can see,
But the robe of your intellect, layered
and deep is the riddle that sets my
attention free.

Infinity Cosmic,
a celestial charm
pouring knowledge
at my temple of her
very existence
A water bearer in the
night sky surrounded
by an air that breathes
songs of her descent
She’s had my attention,
reciting her poetics through
the corridors of my orbit
leaving gifts of her rose
scent
If her essence isn’t
intended for me then it
has still captured me
somewhere throughout
infinity
And beyond that, she has
love for all constellations,
yet the smile I carry
subsequent to her words

Come to Me Come to me,
as honest as the sun
when it says it will
rise yet another day.
Show me your true
feelings to a degree
that makes me hot and
in a revealing disarray.
Descend slowly showing
me all of your true colors
against the changing of
light.
Leave me in a dreamy
state of mind once you’ve
touched my horizon while
we look for Neptune in the
night’s sky.

Positive Identification Listen,
I know it’s loud amongst our
star’s chattering about, but try
and hear my words
Those times when you cross my
path, where you’d stop to hold
up everything else just to see me,
that is why I adore who you are
Why ever should I not? And how by
any measure could I disobey my
soul that says “go after her, follow
your heart”
And so here I am caught up to your
attention because I couldn’t yield
at a–maybe I am wrong about her.
