love me in scorching beams of rays....in shameful days....
love me in rags & no riches,
head full of rollers & a sink full of dishes,
love me when I’m in’,
love me even when I do deeds of the un-forgiven,
love me despite my flesh ...love me for my spirit
love my inner saint though outward im a sinner,
love me for my skin of stone washed denim & scarred exterior...
love this broken mirror
love the pieces that reveal me,
somebody gotta take the stand & love me for the real me....
look past my beauty & look past my ugly...
at my best & at my worst,
in the coldest rain....
just love me.
