I watched you sleep

you sat there this beautiful untold story in all it's glory

resting upon this Egyptian cotton canvas

your only prop was this simply charming infectious smile

you seemed to be laughing out loud in the secrets of your dreams

I wanted to encounter the suns beam as you fought its warmth against your face

your smile shortly started to fade

wondering for once where, perhaps was the shade
