I'm grateful because I've been saved
from the grave one more day
for life there's a reason for that
I can not take my dreams to the grave
to be buried dreams are not made
to be exposed like a blueprint outlaid
it takes a lot of courage to open up to a no
stand there and don't close the door
turn around and knock on more
life is too damn short to just be poor
we are here to live for more
If I learn it I'm going to teach it
non religious but still going to preach it
stand on something if you can't reach it
the time calls for saving yourself
don't look around for someone's help
this world is filled with those out for self
blind you with smoke and steal your wealth
make you pay for good health
make you believe in something else
some souls are sold others are stolen
look closely at the cards you are holding
do you believe bible verses?
do you live by proverses?
does it matter?
will it stop the world from getting worse?
will it stop the garden of Eden's curse?
I ask this because things are getting thick out here
what I see with my eyes not just what I hear
we can not stand on these circumstances
take a closer look take longer glances
our story becomes our problems
if we do not use the pain to solve them
don't pass blame don't involve them
be successful and rob them
of their pleasure to see you down
dance to the music without hearing a sound
we must dream as if we are always sleeping
channeling fortune like finding change
while in the mist of sweeping
