March to September Love

Awaking to a new day
Seeing my life in a new way
Noticing the return of buds
As squirrels race around to play
The time of collecting nuts past
Feeling the need for a love that lasts
Could this be a season of meaning
I mean could this be love I’m seeing

The air is damp with promise
April Rain begins to fall on us
Washing the dark ill thoughts of old
Lifting the chains of binding distrust
As plans are made for the summer holiday
Plans to be together for an initial experience
Fondness is dense, staring in eyes for days
As we share a cocktail by the sunset’s silhouette
Discussing past love lives and love without light
Looking for love in the darkest of winter nights
Passion does ignite as the mood is just right
Under the moonlight serenade, sparkling our gaze

I so enjoy these humid days of thick want
Performed mutually as sweat is wiped caringly
Fireflies highlight our intense foreplay
Illumanting intensity erogenously
Seven days and six nights of ecstasy
Returning home with smiles of Cheshire
Weekends spent under the AC hiss and hum
Disguising sounds of moans and groans
Pleasure is bending towards summer ending
September approaches as we grow closer

Will Fall be the fall of our quick rise
Hinting towards a spring to summer love demise
As I reminisce this summer of content
Characterized by Blue Skies and Green Love Hues
How does she make it do what it do
Mother Nature has had her say
As we now infrequently gather to pay homage
To the days that were long that we loved for so long
Promising to make love from fall to winter to spring
Only to renew our March to September Love!
